About This Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for Java-based microservices and UI applications.

· Write and execute API test cases using tools/frameworks like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.

· Automate UI tests using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

· Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure quality is built into the development process.

· Perform integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for microservices-based applications.

· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

· Debug failures, analyse logs, and report defects with detailed steps for reproduction.

· Work with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes for test setup and execution

Technical Skills Required:

3-5 years of experience

Java

· Experience in testing Java microservices and REST APIs.

UI automation

BDD

Git

· Exposure to build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have:

· Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).

· Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Docker

· Understanding of test data management and mocking tools (WireMock, LocalStack).

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities.

· Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying issues early.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web, mobile, and API testing environments.

· Experience working in Agile environments is highly preferred
