Iskraemeco by Kaynes is a leading Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) in India. We manufacture over 5 lakh smart energy meters monthly with a fully captive ecosystem spanning Design, Development, Validation, Software, and Managed Services teams. With a turnover of ₹600 Crore and exponential growth, we are expanding into smart water and gas metering. Our secure and data-intensive ecosystem is supported by our state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad and Kolkata.

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience to join our team, preferably at our Hyderabad Plant (alternatively Kolkata Corporate Office) location. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications critical to smart energy meter production and operations.

·       Design, develop, and maintain Windows applications and services using .NET and C#.

·       Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and SOLID principles for scalable and maintainable software.

·       Develop and optimize Windows Forms (WinForms) applications for production systems.

·       Design and implement Windows Services to support real-time and background operations.

·       Work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases for data management, queries, and optimization.

·       Implement multithreading solutions for performance optimization.

·       Develop and maintain serial communication protocol-based applications for hardware interfacing.

·       Implement and troubleshoot TCP/IP communication modules.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, validation, and production teams.

·       Ensure software compliance with security and quality standards.

·       Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and reports.

·       B-Tech/M-Tech(Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Computer Engineering)/MCA.

·       6 years of relevant experience in software development using .NET and C#.

·       Strong programming expertise in .NET and C#.

·       Deep understanding of OOPs and SOLID principles.

·       Hands-on experience with Windows Application Development/WinForms and Windows Services.

·       Proficiency in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.

·       Experience in multithreading and parallel programming.

·       Knowledge of serial communication protocols and TCP/IP.

·       Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

·       Ability to work in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
