Introduction IBM CIO TPT Web Development Your role and responsibilities Strong familiarity with backend and frontend technologies including Node.js, Angular. Experience with various UI frameworks such as Carbon Design System, Bootstrap, Material Design, or similar. Familiarity with Carbon is a plus. Proficiency in implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and data structures in both frontend and backend development.Web Services: Hands-on experience with RESTful and SOAP web services implementation. Hands on in integrating and building APIs, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services.Database Management: Experience with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, DB2) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases. Expertise in connecting to various data sources using JDBC and ODBC connectors. Familiarity with cloud storage solutions such as Amazon S3 and IBM Cloud Object Storage (COS) for managing and storing large datasets.Test-Driven Development (TDD) & Testing: Experience with TDD practices, using frameworks like JUnit and PyTest for backend unit testing. Experience with Selenium for end-to-end testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications.Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Redhat Openshift for deploying and managing containerized applications. Hands on knowledge of Devops and CICD pipeline. Understanding of operators in Go language. Understanding of workflow management tools like Apache Airflow, or similar for orchestrating complex data pipelines.Automation, Monitoring & Performance Management: Proficiency with monitoring tools like Instana for application performance monitoring. Proficiency with Ansible/Ansible Automation Platform or any similar tools.Source Control & Project Management: Proficient in using GitHub for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and code management. Experience with Jira for project tracking, issue management, and maintaining workflow efficiency. Basics of managing ServiceNow tickets or any ticketing tool.Good to have: Familiarity in web development (Laravel/Angular/React-nodeJS) Understanding of Web Service implementation (RESTful and SOAP) Experience with source control management tools (GitHub, Jira) 1 to 2 years' experience primarily in using Apache Spark, Kafka and SQL preferably in Data Engineering projects with a strong TDD approach. Solid understanding of Python with a focus on writing efficient and maintainable code. Basic understanding of AI concepts to support the integration and development of AI services. Proven experience with Apache Spark and Scala Skills in handling both structured and unstructured data, ensuring efficient processing and storage. Proficiency in using Kafka for messaging and building real-time data pipelines.Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Hands on experience with Data Analysis & Querying using SQLs and considerable exposure to ETL processes. Expertise in developing Cloud applications with High Volume Data processing. Worked on building scalable Microservices components using various API development frameworks."
