Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & YouTube Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a creative, tech-savvy individual with a passion for digital news, social platforms, and video content. You will be responsible for expanding NewsBreak24’s digital presence, ensuring our news reaches audiences across multiple channels in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Create, design, and edit social media creatives using Canva templates.
• Publish news updates across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
• Research trending topics, hashtags, and formats to maximise reach.
• Use AI tools to optimise content creation and publishing workflows.

YouTube Content

• Create engaging news videos and shorts.
• Produce bulletin videos using AI avatars and text-to-speech tools.
• Upload, optimise, and manage videos on our YouTube channel.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor insights across social platforms to evaluate performance.
• Track KPIs to improve audience growth and engagement.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations for strategy improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management (preferably in news/media).
• Strong knowledge of YouTube content creation & optimisation.
• Familiarity with Canva and basic graphic design.
• Experience using AI tools for content production (ChatGPT, TTS, avatar video tools, etc.).
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and adaptability to fast-paced news cycles.
