Our Opportunity

As a M&C Social Media Professional, you will be expected to help/manage social media projects and give proactive advice to the global Marketing & Communication communities and Business Areas and Market Areas, on the selected platforms.In this role, you will be both responsible for “social media management” and “social listening and analytics” on the prescribed channels/platforms and communities.

  • Analyze social media sentiments
  • Project management from proactive communication advice to social media support
  • Do quality check of the “content” and “communication” for the social media project/s
  • Work on global projects for the Marketing & Communications teams by providing content for social channels, both organic and paid
  • Review & edit written content for social channels for grammar, verbiage, comprehensibility in order to make them error free and according to Ericsson brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Host sessions with stakeholders to understand the business needs
In this role, candidate would be expected to construct queries in a way that, would help monitor social conversation for different businesses and geographies, as well as competitive brands, programs, products, marketing campaigns and events. He/she should have strong communication skills adaptable to various campaigns, platforms, and audiences, with the ability to synthesize information quickly and communicate complex topics (for the different worldwide geographies). Social listening and analyzing the sentiments would be integral tasks. Deciphering what is important and meaningful for business, then communicating the crisp story in a way which would give business insights based on data, help to make decisions based on the reports and analysis.

Other skills required:

  • End to end project management for the global client/s
  • Eye for details in terms of grammar and verbiage
  • A knack for editing and proof reading with good research and paraphrasing skills.
  • Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for global audience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Social media management
  • Social listening
  • Social media analysis
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Forums, Instagram, and Tumblr required
  • Experience on tools such as Hootsuite, Meltwater etc
  • Skilled user of MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders (preferably in a global context)
  • Experience of working for a multi-national company
