Role Overview

Social Media Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community management across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Coordinate with designers, content writers, and video editors for creatives and campaigns.
• Run paid social campaigns (boosted posts, engagement ads, awareness campaigns) and optimize them.
• Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions) and prepare monthly reports.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, formats, and algorithm changes.
• Engage with online communities, influencers, and partners for brand collaborations.
• Assist in conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns and contests.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in managing social media accounts (agency experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
• Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite/Buffer, Canva, and analytics dashboards.
• Basic knowledge of running paid social campaigns.
• Creative mindset with strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
