Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Social Media Marketing Intern. The intern will support the creation and management of social media campaigns, assist in content creation for various platforms, and contribute to digital marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include research, drafting posts, tracking social media metrics, and working closely with the marketing team to enhance online presence. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media and digital marketing strategies.

About the Role

Social Media Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Profile, YouTube), ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
• Develop and publish platform-optimized content for each audience segment.
• Ideate and execute creative video, reel, and short-form content concepts.
• Research trends, competitor strategies, and audience behavior to inform content planning.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to identify what drives

  reach, views, likes, comments, rankings, and overall traction

• Implement strategies to

  increase viewership, engagement rate, follower growth, and visibility

• Manage daily social media operations, including scheduling, automation, and publishing using Zoho Social.

Requirements

• Experience in creating social media calendars and executing structured content plans.
• Strong understanding of

  —how to boost reach, engagement, ranking, likes, comments, and audience retention.
• Knowledge of video creation and editing tools; experience in reel-making is an advantage.
• Creative, proactive mindset with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Workato, etc.) preferred.
• Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field is a plus (not mandatory).
• Must have a reliable computer and stable internet connection.
