Earthy is a fast-growing food and beverage startup focused on building innovative digital experiences around modern food products and services. We’re creating a strong online presence to engage, educate, and excite our customers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Expert & Handler to manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This role involves strategy, content planning, posting, community management (especially comment handling), and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand goals and campaigns.
• Create monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Content & Posting
• Coordinate creation of posts, reels, shorts, stories, and community posts (working with designers/video editors or handling basic creation yourself).
• Write engaging, on-brand captions and copy optimized for each platform.
• Schedule and publish content at optimal times to maximize reach and engagement.
Community Management & Comment Handling
• Actively monitor comments, DMs, tags, and mentions across all platforms.
• Respond to comments and messages promptly, politely, and in brand voice.
• Handle FAQs, basic customer queries, and escalate issues to internal teams when required.
• Manage negative comments and feedback professionally, maintaining brand reputation.
Growth & Engagement
• Plan and execute engagement activities (polls, Q&A, contests, giveaways, etc.).
• Explore collaborations with influencers, creators, and relevant pages.
• Keep track of trends and adapt content formats and topics accordingly (reels trends, meme formats, food trends).
Analytics & Reporting
• Track key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, click-throughs, etc.).
• Prepare regular performance reports with insights and improvement ideas.
• Optimize strategy based on data and learnings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing social media for a brand/agency.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube algorithms and best practices.
• Excellent written communication skills and strong sense of brand tone & storytelling.
• Experience handling comment sections and DMs at scale, with patience and professionalism.
• Ability to use social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, scheduling tools, etc.).
• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar) and familiarity with short-form video content.
• Strong understanding of current digital trends, especially in F&B or lifestyle.
Good to Have (Optional)
• Experience with paid ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and basic performance marketing.
• Experience with influencer marketing and collaboration negotiations.
• Prior experience in food & beverage, D2C, or hospitality brands. • Comfortable in English & Hindi languages.
