Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to oversee our social media accounts, create compelling graphics and videos, and capture high-quality content through photography and videography. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent visual design skills, and hands-on experience in content creation and production. Ideal candidate will be given a tablet or laptop for editing. This position requires a maximum of 8 hours of work per day.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across platforms such as Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Create, edit, and post engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to each platform’s audience.

Shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos for social media campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.

Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring analytics to optimize performance.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with broader brand campaigns and goals.

Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.

Design visually appealing graphics using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

Produce and edit videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Monitor and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and targeting.

Qualifications

Relevant proven experience or portfolio needed. Freshers welcome to apply.

2+ years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization (preferred but not required for freshers).

Proven experience in graphic design and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative work (or relevant coursework/projects for freshers).

Proficiency with design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or similar software.

Hands-on experience with photography and videography, including knowledge of cameras, lighting, and sound equipment (or willingness to learn).

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building.

Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.

Preferred Skills

Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for creating or customizing social media assets.

Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
