Job Overview

Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content & Strategy

  • Develop and maintain monthly social media calendars for multiple in-house and client brands.
  • Plan and write content (posts, reels, carousels, shorts, stories, scripts) aligned with campaign goals.
  • Ensure a balance between engagement, brand storytelling, and sales-driven messaging.


Team Coordination & Execution

  • Act as a 

    central coordinator

     between Art Director, design team, video editors, and strategy leads.
  • Translate creative briefs into actionable deliverables and ensure timely execution.
  • Own the delivery process from concept to final post upload.


Intern Team Management

  • Hire, train, and manage social media interns working under your supervision.
  • Allocate daily tasks, provide feedback, and monitor performance for learning and growth.


Ad-Friendly Creative Support

  • Write ad copy and creatives optimized for Meta Ads (traffic, lead gen, engagement).
  • Work closely with the ads team to develop high-performing content variants for campaigns.
  • Understand Meta Business Suite, audiences, and post boosting basics.


Community & Brand Building

  • Oversee day-to-day engagement (DMs, comments, messages) with team support.
  • Curate trends, UGC, influencer mentions, and viral formats for brand advantage.
  • Plan and suggest campaign ideas (giveaways, hooks, collabs) to grow online presence.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor weekly and monthly analytics using Instagram/Facebook insights or other tools.
  • Prepare performance reports with actionable takeaways for team and client reviews.
  • Constantly suggest optimization techniques based on data and trends.


Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media content management, preferably in an agency setup.
  • Excellent command over English (writing, scripting, copywriting).
  • Understanding of Meta platforms, formats, post types, and ad basics.
  • Strong coordination skills to manage internal creative teams and external expectations.
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, and handle pressure with deadlines.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring interns is a plus.


Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

  • Canva / Photoshop basics for urgent post requirements
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing, brand collaborations
  • Awareness of paid ads formats, budgeting, and ad tracking
