Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who can support day-to-day content creation and execution across platforms. This role is not just about posting – you will be actively involved in ideation, shoots, basic editing, and on-ground content capture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Shoots

  • Assist in planning and executing content shoots (reels, short videos, photos) for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Coordinate basic shoot logistics: scheduling, location setup, props, and basic styling.
  • Be actively present during shoots to capture BTS content, stories, and short clips.
  • Act as talent on camera when required (optional – if comfortable).

2. Social Media Content & Scheduling

  • Support in creating daily/weekly social media content (reels, posts, stories, carousels, shorts).
  • Write basic captions, hooks, and hashtags in line with brand tone.
  • Schedule posts using social media tools or native platforms as guided.
  • Maintain and update the social media content calendar.

3. Editing & Design Support

  • Do basic video editing for reels/shorts (cutting, trimming, adding text, transitions, music).
  • Use Canva or similar tools to design simple posts, stories, and thumbnails.
  • Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized assets for different platforms.

4. Research & Trend Spotting

  • Track ongoing trends, audio, formats, and viral content relevant to our niche.
  • Share weekly inputs on what competitors and industry players are doing on social media.
  • Suggest fresh ideas for campaigns, series, and formats.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Assist in tracking basic performance metrics (views, reach, engagement, followers).
  • Prepare simple weekly reports and share key learnings (what worked / what didn’t).

6. Coordination & Admin

  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, marketing, operations) for content inputs and approvals.
  • Maintain a library of raw footage, edited files, and approved creatives.
Requirements
  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Media, Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital branding.
  • Basic knowledge of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic editing tools (CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva, or similar).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable being on the field/office for shoots and brand activities.
  • Candidate must carry and work on their own laptop during the internship.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
  • Prior experience managing a personal page, college fest page, or small brand page.
  • Basic photography/videography skills (phone or camera).
  • Understanding of hooks, storytelling, and short-form content psychology.
Internship Details
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Stipend: ₹12,000 per month
  • Mode: On-site
  • Certificate and Letter of Experience on successful completion.
