Role Overview

The Social Media Content Creator

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Curation

• Conceptualize and create daily content (reels, videos, photos, stories, and posts) for Hello December’s Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

• Capture behind-the-scenes moments, product styling, unboxing, and day-in-the-life brand storytelling.

• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content aligned with Hello December’s tone and aesthetic.

• Curate visual inspiration and trend references to evolve brand storytelling.

2. Campaign & Calendar Execution

• Collaborate with the social media manager and creative team to execute monthly content calendars.

• Ensure timely posting, scheduling, and story updates.

• Create visual narratives around collections, drops, styling services, and brand campaigns.

• Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

3. Collaboration & Influencer Support

• Support influencer seeding campaigns — packaging shoots, unboxing content, and repost management.

• Coordinate with stylists, designers, and photographers for collaborative shoots.

• Attend styling setups and content shoots to capture engaging, real-time content.

4. Copy & Communication

• Write catchy, on-brand captions and hooks for posts and reels.

• Collaborate with the design and brand teams to ensure visual and verbal tonality alignment.

5. Insights & Growth

• Track engagement, views, and reach analytics to understand what’s working.

• Stay updated on new social trends, formats, and viral moments — adapting them for the brand.

• Propose creative experiments (new formats, storytelling ideas, collaborations).

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling.

• Proficient in short-form video creation and editing (using CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).

• Excellent understanding of Instagram, Pinterest, and visual content trends.

• Confident in handling phone-based shooting (Reel-style content).

• Highly proactive, organized, and creative under pressure.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience creating content for design, lifestyle, fashion, or home brands.

• Background in design, communication, media, or visual arts.

• Experience working in brand marketing or creative agencies is a plus.
