Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Showroom Manager with a strong background in Showroom sales within the interior design industry. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in showroom sales, preferably in the interior design or related fields. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of operations of a showroom specializing in Modular kitchen, customized home furniture’s and interior. The Showroom Manager ensures the showroom runs efficiently, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and meets sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Showroom Operations:
Ensure the showroom is visually appealing and meets brand standards.
Monitor inventory, displays, and product arrangements to enhance customer experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with the brand image.
Customer Experience & Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales targets by engaging walk-in customers and converting leads.
Collaborate with the design and sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable design solutions Provide expert advice on product selection, layout, and interior design concepts.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups professionally Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, architects, and consultants.
Team Management:
Supervise and guide showroom staff (sales executives, designers, and support staff).
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations if need Conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service.
Motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales objectives.
Leadership Quality:
Experience supervising, training, and motivating teams to deliver excellent service and achieve sales goals.
Experience working with clients on design projects, from concept to completion, is advantageous.
Customer Experience:
Greet and attend to clients, offering personalized consultation.
Handle escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain records of client interactions, feedback, and follow-ups.
Reporting & Coordination:
Prepare daily/weekly sales and performance reports for management.
Coordinate with backend teams for order processing, deliveries, and installations.
Work closely with marketing for promotions, events, and showroom campaigns.
Skills:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in interior design or luxury goods and strong sales and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing budgets.
Strong knowledge of interior design principles and home furnishings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
Sales-driven mind-set with the ability to analyse trends and adjust strategies.
Customer-centric approach with problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools.
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Certification or diploma in Interior Design or Visual Merchandising (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
More than 5 years’ experience required ensures the showroom runs efficiently, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and meets sales targets.
