Job Description Role : ServiceNow ITSM Developer Required Technical Skill Set : ServiceNow, ITSM Modules, Java/Javascript Desired Experience Range : 4 - 8 Years Location of Requirement : Kolkata, India. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have Technical Competency : Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer and Implementing Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Behavioral competency Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written) Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratevily Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives) Good-to-Have ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification Java developer certification Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories) Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing Provide any required training to the users on the user stories Show more Show less
