About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join ourteam. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNowadministration, configuration, and development, with a strong understanding of ITSM processes,workflows, and best practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operationand optimization of the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades,patches, and regular maintenance tasks. Develop, customize, and manage ServiceNow modules, applications, and workflowssuch as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Asset, and ConfigurationManagement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them intotechnical specifications and ServiceNow solutions. Ensure the platforms stability and performance by implementing best practices inarchitecture, security, and governance. Manage system integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware to connectServiceNow with other enterprise systems. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, SOPs, andarchitectural designs. Implement and manage ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and analytics forperformance monitoring and insights. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for ServiceNow users across theorganization. Stay updated on new ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends,recommending improvements to enhance the platforms capabilities.Required Skills and Experience ServiceNow Expertise:o Extensive experience in ServiceNow Administration, including module setup,workflow creation, and scripting.o Proficient in creating and managing business rules, UI policies, UI actions, andclient scripts.o Experience in developing ServiceNow catalog items, forms, and user interfaces. Technical Skills:o Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).o Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integration technologies (REST, SOAP,LDAP, MID Server, etc.).o Knowledge of database management and relational databases (e.g., MySQL). ITSM Knowledge:o Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes.o Experience in IT Service Management, including Incident, Problem, Change, andKnowledge Management. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:o Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex issues effectively.o Strong aptitude for translating business requirements into technical solutions. Communication Skills:o Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration anddocumentation.o Ability to train and support end-users effectively.Preferred Qualifications Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA).
