Policybazaar is looking for an SEO Team Leader to coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company’s profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute set traffic growth targets and identify new opportunities to grow the organic traffic.
• Developing, tracking, and monitoring SEO targets, including KPIs and OKRs, in alignment with business strategy
• Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics. Executing tests, A/B Testing, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum engagement and achieving competitive keyword rankings.
• Cooperating with internal stakeholders across marketing and engineering teams
• Staying ahead of industry changes and acting as our in-house expert on new approaches to SEO
• Conducting keyword research to identify improvement and optimization opportunities.
• Managing offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance.
• Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings

We're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, ideally in a start-up and/or e-commerce company
• Technical proficiency, including the ability to speak developers’ language
• An analytical mindset and a very good understanding of business-savvy SEO KPIs
• Proficiency with SEO tools(SEMrush, Ahrefs, MOZ), including Google Search Console and crawling software
• Strong communication skills and a persuasive personality
• Hands-on, goal-driven, and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with SEO reporting
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
