Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven SEO Specialist to join our digital growth team. You’ll be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy to increase organic visibility, generate leads, and drive traffic to our platforms – SkillVedika and FindMyGuru. This is a strategic role involving both technical and content SEO across multiple EdTech verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end SEO strategies for websites, blogs, landing pages, and program pages.
  • Perform detailed keyword research to identify high-ranking, high-conversion terms relevant to students, tutors, and training programs.
  • Optimize on-page elements: meta titles, descriptions, headers, URLs, image alt text, and internal linking.
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, page speed issues, mobile usability, and indexation problems.
  • Collaborate with content writers to guide keyword usage, readability, and article structures.
  • Build and manage backlink strategies via guest posts, directories, PR, and outreach.
  • Monitor performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends in the EdTech domain.
  • Create monthly reports tracking keyword rankings, traffic growth, CTR, bounce rate, and conversion rates.

Target KPIs:

  • Organic traffic growth (monthly/quarterly)
  • SERP rankings for key keywords (e.g., “SAP tutor online”, “spoken English course”, etc.)
  • Bounce rate & session duration improvement
  • Leads/enrollments from organic traffic

Required Skills:

  • Proven 3+ years of experience in SEO (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or service-based websites)
  • Expertise in tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush
  • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS basics, schema markup, and technical SEO
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Webflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently with a data-first mindset

Preferred:

  • Previous SEO experience in education, coaching, or B2C platforms
  • Basic understanding of content marketing and digital funnel strategy
  • Knowledge of YouTube SEO is a plus
  • Hands-on with Google Tag Manager and GTM-based event tracking

Growth Path:

Potential to grow into Digital Growth Manager or SEO Lead based on performance and results within 12–18 months.
