About The Role
We are hiring an Assistant Manager - SEO to lead execution of organic search strategy across product, marketing, and content channels. You will own on-page, technical, and off-page SEO initiatives to increase qualified organic traffic, improve search visibility for commercial keywords, and close the loop on SEO-driven revenue.Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute on-page, technical, and off-page SEO initiatives to drive organic traffic and keyword rankings for high-intent commercial queries.
- Perform regular SEO audits; identify technical issues (crawlability, indexation, page speed, schema) and drive remediation with engineering and CMS teams.
- Lead keyword research and content gap analysis to brief, prioritize, and optimize landing pages, blog content, and product pages for conversion.
- Develop and manage link‑building campaigns, outreach workflows, and relationship-building with publishers to earn high-quality backlinks.
- Build dashboarding and reporting for organic performance (traffic, rankings, conversions); present actionable insights to marketing and revenue stakeholders.
- Mentor junior SEO resources and collaborate cross-functionally to embed SEO best practices into product releases and content production.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable impact on organic traffic and conversions.
- Proven expertise with Google Analytics and Google Search Console for analysis and reporting.
- Practical experience using Ahrefs or SEMrush and Screaming Frog for audits, keyword research, and backlink analysis.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge: crawl/indexation, site architecture, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
- Comfortable working with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms to implement on-page fixes and optimisations.
- Experience translating SEO insights into content briefs and prioritized roadmap items.
Preferred
- Experience in B2B SaaS, cloud communications, or enterprise technology verticals.
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and CRO principles to improve organic conversion rates.
- Exposure to team leadership or project management for cross-functional SEO projects.
