SEO Expert

to join our marketing team and take ownership of our organic growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of search engine algorithms, content optimization, and technical SEO. You will play a pivotal role in improving the visibility and search rankings of our B2B event websites, landing pages, speaker profiles, and digital campaigns. Your efforts will directly impact inbound traffic, brand visibility, and lead conversion across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, event pages, and blog posts for on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.).
  • Perform technical audits and recommend fixes for crawl issues, speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, etc.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic reach.
  • Monitor search rankings, site traffic, and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Collaborate with content and web development teams to implement SEO best practices across all digital assets.
  • Create and maintain detailed SEO reports and dashboards, providing regular updates on progress and insights.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct A/B testing and conversion optimization to improve landing page effectiveness.
  • Provide SEO input for new content creation, campaign planning, and platform development.

The Person

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a B2B or event-based marketing environment.
  • Proven track record of improving keyword rankings and increasing organic traffic.
  • Solid understanding of Google algorithms and search engine mechanics.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword planning tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of international and multilingual SEO is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
