We are seeking a
skilled Video Editor
to produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content for social media, web platforms, campaigns, and investor communications.The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of storytelling, technical editing expertise, and a sharp understanding of pacing and brand tone. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, content, and design teams to deliver polished videos that inspire, inform, and engage.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Editing & Storytelling
Edit raw footage into engaging final videos, including short reels, YouTube tutorials, product explainers, ads, testimonials, and internal communications.
Craft compelling story arcs through pacing, transitions, and timing to maximize viewer engagement.Deliver optimized versions for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the company website.
Perform color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines.
Enhance audio quality — noise reduction, level balancing, and sound design.Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, captions/subtitles, and animated overlays (basic–intermediate level).
- Motion Graphics & VFX (as needed)
Create or assemble simple animations and kinetic typography for social or promotional content.
Collaborate with motion designers or create quick-turnaround motion within editing tools when required.
- Asset Management & Workflow
Maintain organized media and project files with clear version control.
Export final deliverables with correct codecs, bitrates, and technical specifications.Follow efficient, repeatable workflows to ensure quick turnarounds.
- Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with scriptwriters, designers, and marketing leads to translate briefs into impactful videos.
Incorporate feedback effectively while providing creative and technical input.Participate in pre-production planning by advising on shot coverage and technical needs.
- Continuous Improvement & Trend Awareness
Stay up to date with video trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.Suggest innovative content ideas, format improvements, and A/B testing approaches to boost retention and conversion.
Day-to-Day Deliverables
2–6 short-form social videos (15–90 seconds)
or
1 long-form video (3–12 minutes) per day/week (depending on campaign requirements).Platform-ready versions (square, vertical, horizontal) with captions/subtitles.Properly archived and labeled project files for every deliverable.
Required Skills & Experience
6–8 years of professional video editing experience for marketing, social media, or content teams (8+ years for Senior Video Editor consideration).Proficiency in
Adobe Premiere Pro
.Working knowledge of
After Effects
for motion graphics and animated titles.Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition.Experience with color correction/grading workflows and basic audio mixing.Understanding of export settings, codecs, and delivery formats.Portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability across both short-form and long-form content (

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
PropTech, Real Estate, Fintech, or B2B marketing
