About the Role :

Civil Engineer

report directly to the company's Managing Director (MD)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Government Liaison & Representation

• Serve as the

  primary point of interface

  between BLG and Government Departments
• Represent BLG in

  review meetings, presentations, and departmental evaluations

  .
• Ensure smooth coordination for approvals, issue resolution, and data sharing with client departments.

2. Project Oversight & Coordination

• Monitor and support performance of

  ongoing consultancy assignments

  in the country.
• Facilitate coordination between BLGs project teams and department engineers to resolve technical, administrative, or reporting issues.
  

3. Business Development & Strategic Expansion

• Represent BLG in

  pre-bid meetings, consultations, and strategic discussions

  for upcoming tenders or business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior officials and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of EOIs, RFPs, and Technical Proposals for new tenders.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

  (Postgraduate degree preferred)

• Minimum 15 years

  of experience in the civil engineering/infrastructure consultancy sector

  (Preference will be given for water supply, sewerage, drainage, irrigation and building projects)

• Minimum

  5 years of experience in leadership roles (team leader and above)

• Proven experience in handling

  government consultancy projects

  related to

  water supply, sewerage, irrigation, and buildings

• Strong understanding of departmental functioning across India.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  
• Fluency in

  Hindi and English
