AECOM is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Engineer - Water Infrastructure to be based in Bengaluru/Gurgaon/Mumbai, India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities: 12+ Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada, MER & ANZ region ) Having hands on experience for Design of wet utilities - Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Highway Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D, Open Roads & MicroStation) Capable of designing the pumping stations, general arrangement, road/bridge crossing structures, typical valve chambers etc. Having experience with any Hydraulic modeling tools like Water Hammer, Sewer GEMS/Infoworks ICM, Infoworks WS Pro/ WaterGEMS, Info Drainage, HEC-RAS would be advantage. Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings etc. Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC) Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Should be capable of leading multiple projects with different geographical locations same time. Provides training and technical support to Engineers, designers on understanding design standards, adopting digital tools Additional skills like team management, project management, resource planning, project budget planning, estimation is must Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications: Masters in civil / water resources / Environment / PHE Preferable to have or working towards Professional Qualification such as C.Eng. (ICE) or C.Eng. (IET) or C. CIWEM. Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Able to see the "bigger picture" and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Accountability for assigned work. Accuracy & precision of work. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. Identifies discrepancies in results. Provides guidance to entry level engineers. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Qualifications Candidate should have minimum 5 -9 yrs of experience Well versed with modelling software's SynergiWater, Innovyze InfoWorks WS, Bentley WaterGems Experience with GIS softwares such as ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS, MapInfo Hands-on experience in Planning and Hydraulic Modelling for Water Infrastructure projects. Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration of Water supply network distribution and transmission network. Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards. Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis. Good report writing skills.
