As a Plumbing Engineer, your role involves developing detailed plumbing system designs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will need to consider water supply, drainage, and sewage disposal while ensuring that all designs and installations adhere to local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations. It is essential to prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing materials and labor required for projects. Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies is crucial to recommend and implement innovative plumbing solutions. You will be responsible for managing plumbing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Additionally, conducting inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting plumbing system issues during and after project completion are part of your responsibilities. Maintaining accurate records, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians are also vital aspects of your role.
