Senior Vice President

As the Automation Group Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing complex and critical professional disciplinary areas, leading a team of automation professionals, and ensuring the achievement of function objectives. Your role will require a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within the function, strong commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills for internal and external negotiations. You will have full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, overseeing people management, budgeting, planning, and performance evaluation. Your contribution will primarily affect a sub-function, and you will be involved in short- to medium-term planning for your area. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Team & Program Leadership:** Manage multiple teams and functional areas, ensure appropriate staffing, and provide overall direction for complex programs and projects. - **Compliance & Risk Management:** Oversee compliance with processes and procedures, manage policy adherence, and ensure appropriate risk assessment and control in business decisions. - **Operational & Control Optimization:** Evaluate high-risk issues, develop automation solutions to reduce manual processes, and drive process improvements. - **Innovation & Efficiency Driving:** Identify growth opportunities, optimize business models, and enhance operational efficiency. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:** Collaborate with business managers, build relationships, and influence senior stakeholders. - **Project Planning & Execution:** Develop and manage project plans, ensure delivery within required outcomes and budget. - **Executive Communication & Best Practices:** Develop executive presentations, share best practices, and drive innovation. **Qualifications:** - 13+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, with 2-3 years of managerial experience - Proficiency in data analytics and automation tools such as SAS, Tableau, Appian, Xceptor, and other low-code/no-code platforms - Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts and programming principles - Track record as a Program or Project Manager on cross-functional projects - Business analysis competency with problem-solving skills and appreciation of enterprise data vision - Experience in creating positive risk culture, data quality frameworks, and governance practices in financial services firms - Knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance, and Data Compliance **Education:** - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred In addition to the above details, the company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application process.
