Summary:

Role

• collaborating with stakeholders to discover, elicit, and analyze problems and requirements;
• task and workflow analysis, flow/process diagramming, journey mapping;
• formative concept design, wireframes;
• multi-fidelity prototyping, usability testing and validation, evidence-driven iteration;
• user-interface and interaction design, specification;
• implementation support.
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience with:
• Human-Centered Design in an agile software development environment;
• Creating and executing usability testing;
• Designing usable interfaces with complex, multi-step interactions and/or complex information visualizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Information Science or relative experience
• Demonstrable experience in/with:
• Designing responsive web applications or mobile applications.
• Experienced in approach design problems with a “mobile first” mentality.
• Web accessibility and assistive technologies (screen readers, etc.).
• Tools such as Axure, Invision, Sketch, MIRO, Adobe CS, or similar.
• Expert in translating design specs to technical teams.
• Ability to work with both collocated and remote collaborators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is highly desired.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, potentially across different products, maintaining acute attention to details.
• Ability to present design and work samples of completed projects.
• Experience using UX Design best practices to provide valid solutions.
• Capacity to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Work effectively in a team environment, and comfortable with receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
