Job Title: Senior Ticketing Executive

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ticketing Executive with in-depth knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre), domestic and international fares, and IATA regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling ticket issuance, re-issuance, refunds, cancellations, and fare calculations. This role requires a professional who can manage both corporate clients and individual travelers with accuracy, speed, and exceptional communication skills.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end ticketing operations including issuance, re-issuance, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Work efficiently on GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) for fare searches, seat allocation, and PNR management.
  • Handle domestic & international fare calculations and apply IATA rules, airline policies, and routing restrictions.
  • Assist clients with best fare options, alternative routings, and special requests to ensure cost efficiency and convenience.
  • Manage corporate bookings, ensuring timely confirmations and accurate invoicing.
  • Keep updated with airline circulars, fare changes, and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with airlines and consolidators for ticketing queries, waiver approvals, and schedule changes.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer support to resolve booking or travel-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and IATA standards in all transactions.
  • Train and support junior ticketing staff if required.



Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in ticketing (domestic & international).
  • Strong working knowledge of Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre GDS systems.
  • Excellent understanding of IATA regulations, fare construction, and airline industry practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ticketing-related software tools.
  • Prior experience handling corporate clients is highly desirable.



Education & Certifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferably Travel & Tourism / Hospitality).
  • IATA / UFTAA certification will be an added advantage.
