Tasks And Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and build effective test strategies
• Own and improve test coverage, reliability, and performance of test suites
• Strong coding skills in Java, Javascript. Typescript and Python (optional)
• Hands-on with tools like:JUnit/TestNG Selenium / Playwright / Cypress RestAssured / Postman Automation Cucumber (BDD)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Gitlab CICD pipeline, Jenkins
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
  

Technical/ Professional Qualifications

• Expertise in core Java/JavaScript.
• Expertise in a test framework like testNG/Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks e.g., Playwright - UI/API (preferred), Selenium, Cypress
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience in CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab,GitHub Action, BitBucket).
• Experience in build tools (Maven, Gradle or any other tools).
• Basic experience in SQL/No-SQL(MongoDB).
• Knowledge of modern methodologies like BDD, Test-Driven Development and Data Driven Testing.
• Knowledge of Cloud based systems.
• Expertise of setting CI/CD for automation test script using docker.
• Strong debugging skills
• Good analytical and conceptual skills.
• Command over the English language, both verbal and in writing.
