Description
As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for technical day-to-day on- and offshore operations reporting to the local Site Manager. The working schedule will be a rotation of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off based at the office in Ijmuiden. You will be accountable for providing technical, safety, and leadership competence at a local level to support windfarm availability while executing planned maintenance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Technical planning of work, providing details such as documentation, tools, parts, and time needed to complete a task - Advising coordinators, technicians, warehouse manager, and site managers about technical scope - Day-to-day technical prioritization of unplanned work in wind turbine generator systems - Advising about material needed for a specific troubleshoot event - Handling technical cases - Work preparation long term (e.g., Retrofit / Service) - Reviewing and aligning new retrofits and customer bulletin materials and resources with back office - Writing specific work instructions, risk assessments, checklist if needed - Review, alignment, follow-up Customer inspection reports - Preparation and if needed participation of technical toolbox topics based on Safety Alerts / Findings in the Field - Maintaining Safe System of Work for WTG plant and LV apparatus - Setting to work of technician teams **Qualifications Required:** - Further/vocational education or proven experience is desirable - Good understanding of electrical & mechanical systems, all turbine components and systems would be helpful - Result-driven individual with EHS (Environment Health & Safety) and Quality awareness - IT skills in MS Office, CRsP, ATS, SAP As a Designer, you will be responsible for accurately laying out a cross-section of a compressor, creating detailed prints for manufacturing, and developing bills of material. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce accurate 3D layouts and solid models of turbo compressors following the project scope and within a specified time frame - Creates engineering prints and bills of materials for manufacturing - Supports product design and development, part detailing and checking, fabrication, and manufacturing - Demonstrate problem-solving skills and innovative thinking - Perform maintenance and updates on components and documents - Implementation / Execution of Cost-Out into production ready status **Qualifications Required:** - BE/BTech in mechanical engineering with 4-5 years of proven experience or Diploma in mechanical engineering with 8-10 years proven experience - Experience in solid modeling and drafting using CAD, preferably NX (Uni graphics) - Proficiency with NX, Teamcenter, and ERP system SAP - Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal for the English language - Ability to work in a team environment - Experience in Turbo compression including knowledge of industry standards (API, ASME, etc.) & general knowledge in manufacturing Siemens Energy is a global energy technology company with a commitment to making sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy a reality.
