Senior Technical Specialist (m/f/d) – West Region (India)

In addition to an extensive network of branch offices in Germany, the company has existing subsidiaries or sales offices in Europe, North America, Singapore, Dubai and Australia.

WAGNER is now looking to substantially expand its business in India. Therefore we are searching for a

Technical specialist (m/f/d) in the fire protection sector

Objective of the role:

• Support internal team & external customers regarding Air Sampling Smoke Detection & OxyReduct system

Responsibilities:

• Contact person for customers/ contractors/ installers in terms of technical queries
• Calculating the necessary configurations and preparing offer calculations based on the guidelines of the sales department.
• Development of concepts for fire prevention, fire suppression and fire detection systems including descriptions and technical drawings
• Responsibility for technical assessment of customer specifications and plausibility verifications
• Technical support of our systems, which are already handed over to the customer, by telephone/email/remote diagnosis, and in individual cases on site at the customer
• Conducting technical product trainings for distribution partners and end-customers
• Inside-Sales Support in terms of order processing, if required
• Ensuring Compliance with law, standards, external regulations, internal guidelines and codes of conduct

Requirements:

• Professional work experience in a similar position
• Technical Skills: Fire alarm – prior design & technical knowledge on Air Sampling Smoke Detection will be added advantage and Fire suppression - prior design & technical knowledge on gas suppression system (IG / FK)
• Knowledge of implementation of fire alarm systems/ASD in different applications will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on codes & standards – NFPA 72, NFPA 76, NFPA 2001
• Exposure to the Middle East & Asia Pacific will be added advantage
• Strong technical skills and good commercial knowledge
• Preferred knowledge on AUTO-CAD software
• Advanced MS-Office skills
• Fluent English language skills
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, testing & troubleshooting of Aspiration & suppression system
• Hands-on mentality, proven ability to work independently and autonomously with self-motivation and commitment
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering – Electrical OR Mechanical Stream other technical qualification in electrical/electronics.
• Required experience in years : 12 to 15 years
