- Lead governance of growth initiatives with comprehensive weekly updates on progress, providing visibility into development timelines, milestone achievements, risks and any deviations from targets.
- Identify and communicate risks across engineering and product teams, creating alerts and detailed risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain advanced performance dashboards using JIRA and other analytics tools like Tableau, consolidating key metrics such as sprint velocity, cycle time, quality metrics, and resource allocation.
- Utilize data insights to drive process improvements and present actionable recommendations to cross-functional leaders.
- Act as an advisor to Product Managers and Scrum Masters on technical process alignment, maintenance of JIRA scrum boards, ensuring compliance with PDLC standards and enforcing RACI guidelines to maintain clear accountability across all stages of the development cycle.
- Continuously evaluate and refine PDLC processes and tools, promoting technical compliance and efficiency improvements across engineering and product teams.
- Partner with engineering to establish and monitor critical quality metrics, including code coverage, defect density, and technical debt, to ensure high standards of engineering quality.
- Oversee integration testing and provide final quality signoffs before production check-ins, coordinating with engineering leads to validate that all code meets defined standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies as required providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment to PDLC best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to refine continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, enabling faster delivery cycles with robust testing and quality gates.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Key attributes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product operations, quality engineering, or technical program management within agile, software-focused environments.
- Advanced proficiency and hands-on scripting experience with JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools like Tableau/Power BI.
- Solid understanding of PDLC methodologies, risk management practices, and quality metrics relevant to software development.
- Strong background in software testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and integration testing.
- Technically astute, with the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and product for high-quality, scalable deliveries.
- Proactive, with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for implementing quality governance in complex, cross-functional environments.
- A collaborative problem-solver, skilled at navigating fast-paced environments while enforcing technical standards and operational excellence.
