Senior Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading and providing functional direction to all functions of Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations to ensure effective management of sourcing, planning, procurement, vendor management, logistics, plant stores, warehouse, inventory, distribution, import-export management, and necessary statutory compliances. Your role will involve planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will be in charge of planning, managing, and coordinating all activities related to sourcing and procurement of materials and supplies required to meet product demand levels. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and provide functional direction to all SCM operations - Plan, manage, and coordinate sourcing and procurement activities - Execute and monitor production activities, ensuring quality control - Supervise dyeing and finishing processes - Monitor inventory levels to maximize working capital - Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations - Develop the logistics team and update them with best practices - Identify process bottlenecks and implement timely solutions - Implement process improvements, optimize material planning, and shifting - Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs Qualification Required: - Must have an Engineering or MBA degree from a premier institution with a strong academic background - Should have 10-15 years of proven experience in Supply Chain and Operations functions - Proficiency in technological capabilities related to the role - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Additional Details: Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through luxurious handmade carpets.
