1.Job Objective :-
Manage the supply chain including demand planning, order
management, Inventory control, manage supply demand and customer support.
The position is responsible for administrating a demand driven
Forecasting software.
2.Key Role & Responsibilities :- Person will be responsible for OTIF (OTD in full), inventory optimization for Pune location, including planning, dispatch of finished goods to USA warehouse & overseas customers. Coach & mentor, the team for achieving the goals. Seamless Co-ordination with global teams. Must have worked into multi product, dynamic industry supplying products & services globally. Capable of handling a team of 5~6 direct reports. Must be very proficient into handling any of the forecasting tool, involving vast data mining.
Must handle all supply chain activities but not limited to :- 1) Take care of production planning & control activity for Pune location. 2) Decide optimum levels of Inventory without affecting delivery to end customers (OTD). 3) Foresee the seasonality & act accordingly. 4) Dynamic planning :- quickly synchronize to change in business scenario. 5) Identify issues leading to Customer dissatisfaction & take proactive measures to resolve the same. 6) Administer forecasting, promising & proactively take necessary actions to avoid future inventory or availability risks.. 7) Foresee the seasonality of the parts & work accordingly on the replenishment of the material & Synchronize to change in business scenario. 8) The incumbent is responsible to ensure production plans are created to capture complete demand, meet service commitments and to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time. 9) Study and review the availability of capacities, manpower and machines at the plant/ unit so as to ensure achievement of the plants' Plan and coordinate with production shop for capacity sharing / machine sharing Participate with the GM S&OP for the prioritization of high contribution and critical orders. Liaison with the Purchase & operations team for Weekly & monthly schedules. 10) Dynamically incorporate the changes into the plans & ensure managing the supply chain with optimum inventory.
3.Qualification & Experience Required :- BE & Post Graduation in Supply chain or logistics Must have experience of 14~15 years including 5 years at a managerial level. Must have handled a team of 5~6 people. Smart communicator, task master & excellent in data analytics. Experience in an engineering industry / auto ancillary involving 10000+ finished goods Six Sigma black belt is preferred
4.Personal Characteristic :- * Strong Analytical Skills, * Expert level knowledge of a reputed ERP into S&D, forecasting. Able to handle large amount of data. Expertise in Power BI, Advanced Excel, Pivot table, H-Lookup & V-Lookup, macros etc. Candidate should be able to work effectively in diverse group of people. Good problem-solving skills. Strong communicator ¢ Strong Customer centric approach
