Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Store Executive is responsible for managing the overall store operations in a machine manufacturing environment. This includes handling materials, spare parts, tools, consumables, and finished goods with accuracy and efficiency. The role ensures proper stock maintenance, material traceability, and smooth coordination between Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store activities including receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Manage and maintain accurate stock of machine parts, mechanical and electrical components, and consumables.
  • Verify material receipts against purchase orders and ensure proper documentation (GRN, invoice, DC, etc.).
  • Implement FIFO / LIFO systems and maintain bin cards or ERP entries for traceability.
  • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of materials.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise material requests as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Quality departments for timely material flow.
  • Handle returnable and non-returnable items with proper documentation.
  • Prepare monthly stock and consumption reports for management review.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory for machines and production equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and material handling procedures in the store area.
  • Train and guide store assistants or helpers for efficient workflow.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Material Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in store or inventory management within a machine manufacturing company.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management software.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical spare parts.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination ability.
  • Attention to detail and organizational efficiency.

Work Environment:

  • Factory-based role in a machine manufacturing setup.

  • May involve supervision of loading/unloading and physical stock handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
