Job Title: Software Tester Experience Level: 3–8 Years Location: Ernakulam, Kerala (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with 3 to 8 years of experience to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to design test plans, execute test cases, report bugs, and contribute to continuous improvement in software testing processes. Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Design: Create comprehensive test plans and cases for new features and regression testing. Regularly update test plans to reflect product changes. Test Execution & Reporting: Execute test cases, analyze outcomes, and report software defects. Provide detailed test reports and metrics. Quality Assurance: Ensure software design and implementation meet company and client quality standards. Collaboration: Work with developers and cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to define system requirements and resolve issues. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance testing methodologies using modern tools and practices. User Experience Testing: Verify UI and UX compliance with design specifications and usability standards. Performance Testing: Assess application performance under various scenarios to ensure scalability and stability. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for testing processes and findings. Required Skills and Qualifications 3–8 years of experience in software testing or a similar role Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of various testing types: Functional, Load, Performance, Security, etc. Good communication (verbal and written) skills Working knowledge of Windows OS and basic SQL queries Experience in testing both desktop and web applications Preferred Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, HTML) Experience in database testing Personal Attributes Detail-oriented and committed to quality Capable of working independently and in team settings Excellent time management and organizational skills Eagerness to stay updated on new testing tools and industry trends Benefits Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability as needed Additional Requirements Experience: Total work experience: Minimum 3 years (Preferred) Software testing: Minimum 3 years (Preferred) Commute/Relocation: Must be able to commute to or relocate to Ernakulam, Kerala before joining Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Experience: total work: 3 years (Required) Software tester: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
