Senior SEO Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior SEO Executive to lead and optimize our organic search strategy. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical SEO expertise, mastery of industry-leading tools (including Ahrefs and Google Search Console), and a forward-thinking approach to algorithm updates especially Googles latest core updates (e.g., July - Aug 2025 Helpful Content Update) and AI-powered SEO trends. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement fixes for crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, structured data, canonicalization, and XML sitemaps. Leverage Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other tools to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and troubleshoot ranking drops. Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates (including core updates like July - Aug 2025 Helpful Content Update) and adapt strategies proactively to maintain/improve rankings. Integrate AI-powered SEO tools and techniques (e.g., ChatGPT for content ideation, SurferSEO, MarketMuse, Clearscope, or Jasper) to enhance content relevance, topical authority, and user intent alignment. Collaborate with content, development, and UX teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in website architecture, design, and publishing workflows. Perform keyword research, competitive gap analysis, and backlink profiling to uncover growth opportunities. Track, measure, and report on KPIs including organic traffic, rankings, conversions, CTR, and visibility scores. Mentor junior SEO team members and contribute to building an SEO-first culture across departments. Recommend and implement schema markup, Core Web Vitals optimizations, and international/multilingual SEO strategies where applicable. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications 5–10 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 5+ years focused on technical SEO. Proven track record of improving organic rankings and traffic for medium to large-scale websites. Expert-level proficiency in: Google Search Console & Analytics Ahrefs (Site Audit, Keywords Explorer, Backlink Analysis) Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, or similar crawling tools Strong understanding of Google’s latest algorithm updates — including July - Aug 2025 Core Update (“Helpful Content System”) and how to align content with E-E-A-T and user-first principles. Experience leveraging AI tools for SEO — including AI content optimization, predictive keyword clustering, automated reporting, or intent mapping. Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript SEO implications, and server-side rendering (SSR/CSR). Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, etc.) and ability to work with dev teams on SEO implementations. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. Ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable business recommendations.
