• Implement, configure, and support the SAP Quality Management (QM) module across implementation, rollout, and support projects.
• Analyze and optimize quality management processes, including incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and audit management.
• Customize and configure SAP QM to align with business and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to identify, analyze, and resolve functional and system-related issues.
• Integrate QM with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Identify root causes of issues and implement effective workarounds or permanent solutions.
• Manage QM master data, including inspection plans, sampling procedures, quality information records, and quality certificates.
• Handle and resolve tickets related to QM processes within defined service level agreements.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for enhancements and collaborate with the ABAP development team to implement them.
• Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); support data migration and validation activities.
• Create end-user training materials and process documentation for SAP QM operations.
• Ensure SAP QM processes comply with industry standards and regulations such as ISO and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  

Skills And Experience

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in the SAP QM module.
• Strong knowledge of quality planning, inspection types, result recording, usage decisions, and quality notifications.
• Proficiency in defect recording, batch management, and generating quality certificates.
• Experience integrating QM with MM, PP, SD, PM, and third-party quality systems or tools.
• Participation in at least two full-cycle SAP QM implementations and multiple support projects.
• Familiarity with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to write and review functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes from a client perspective.
• Experience in customizing QM for industry-specific needs such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, or beverage manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing tools and change request configurations.
• Exposure to implementation, support, and rollout projects.
• SAP QM certification preferred.
