Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Senior Consultant with deep expertise in OpenText integration with SAP ECC, Archiving Center, SAP Data Archiving and hands-on knowledge of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise content management and archiving solutions to support business continuity, compliance, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Configure, implement, and support SAP OpenText solutions integrated with SAP ECC and related components.

· Design and execute data archiving and document archiving strategies leveraging SAP Archiving Center and OpenText Archive Server.

· Support SAP data and system housekeeping initiatives to manage storage and compliance requirements.

· Integrate OpenText with various SAP modules and ensure seamless end-to-end document flow and retrieval.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements for records management, ILM policies, and retention rules.

· Perform system health checks, troubleshoot archiving issues, and implement performance optimizations.

· Assist in migration and upgrade projects involving OpenText or ECC archiving components.

· Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, process flows, and configuration guides.

· Work closely with Basis, Development, and Infrastructure teams to ensure stable archiving environments and secure data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong hands-on experience in SAP OpenText Archive Center, Document Access, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) (optional but preferred).

· Proficiency in SAP Data Archiving, SAP ILM configuration

· Experience integrating OpenText with SAP ECC and related ERP modules.

· Good understanding of SAP Archivelink, HTTP content repositories, and storage management.

· Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks related to data retention and legal archiving.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration and its impact on OpenText and data archiving strategies.

· Experience in cloud archival or GCP/Azure/AWS-based OpenText environments.

· Certification in SAP ILM or OpenText xECM for SAP Solutions is a plus.

Educational Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
