SAP PPQM Consultant – Public Cloud

Role Summary:The SAP PPQM Consultant is responsible for implementing and optimizing Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This role involves working with clients to design, configure, and deploy solutions that align with industry best practices, especially in manufacturing and life sciences domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead or support full-cycle implementations of SAP PP and QM modules in Public Cloud.

• Configure PP processes: MRP, production orders, capacity planning, BOMs, routings.

• Configure QM processes: inspection plans, quality notifications, control charts, batch management.

• Process Optimization:

• Analyze client production and quality processes and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Streamline manufacturing operations including make-to-stock, make-to-order, and repetitive manufacturing.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and serialization regulations (especially in pharma).

• Integration & Support:

• Integrate PPQM with other modules (MM, SD, WM, ATTP).

• Support data migration using tools like LTMC, LSMW, or SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Provide post-go-live support and enhancements.

• Documentation & Training:

• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects.

• Conduct end-user training and create system documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 4–8+ years of experience in SAP PP and QM modules.

• At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

• Experience in life sciences, pharma, or discrete manufacturing preferred.

• SAP certification in PP/QM or ATTP is a plus.

Skills:

• SAP PP: MRP, production orders, variant configuration.

• SAP QM: inspection lots, quality notifications, control charts.

• SAP ATTP (for pharma): serialization, EPCIS, compliance reporting.

• Integration with MES, L3/L4 systems.

• Fiori apps and SAP Public Cloud extensibility.

• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
