We are looking a Sr. Sales Manager for our upcoming BAJAJ 2 wheeler segment he will be responsible for driving overall 2-wheeler sales performance, leading a high-performing sales team, strengthening customer experience, and ensuring consistent achievement of retail and wholesale targets. The role demands strong leadership, market insights, analytical ability, and a proven track record in the 2-wheeler industry.
Role & responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for the 2-wheeler division.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure targeted retail and wholesale sales volumes are achieved consistently.
2.Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Consultants.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, mentoring, and capability-building training sessions.
- Set clear KPIs for the sales team and monitor progress.
3.Customer Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure premium customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, fleet owners, and channel partners.
4.Dealer and Channel Network Development
- Coordinate with dealer partners, OEM representatives, and other stakeholders for business growth.
- Oversee channel expansion activities, new dealership initiatives, and market penetration strategies.
5.Business Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasting, and MIS.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational SOPs.
- Work closely with marketing, service, and finance teams for smooth business operations.
6.Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Review daily, weekly & monthly sales performance.
- Analyze sales data, conversion ratios, test-ride effectiveness, inquiries, and lead management.
- Present periodic business updates to senior management.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
10-15 years of experience
in 2-wheeler sales, with minimum 5 years in a managerial/leadership role
