Senior Relationship Manager – HNI Client Acquisition

Location:

Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Senior Relationship Manager to join our Capital Markets team at Phillip Capital India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring High Net Worth Individual (HNI) clients, achieving defined revenue and business growth targets, and providing superior relationship management. The candidate should have prior experience in the broking industry, with in-depth knowledge of equity, derivatives, and other capital market products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Acquire and develop new HNI clients through networking, referrals, and direct engagement.
  • Ensure proper KYC, account opening, and documentation processes for client onboarding.
  • Revenue Generation & Business Development
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business targets.
  • Drive trading volumes and cross-sell investment products offered by Phillip Capital.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNI clients by understanding their financial goals, investment needs, and risk appetite.
  • Provide regular portfolio updates, investment advisory support, and market insights to enhance client engagement.
  • Market & Product Expertise
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and research insights to provide timely investment advice.
  • Leverage research, trading platforms, and in-house expertise to support client decisions.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines (SEBI, Exchanges) and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Ensure transactions and advice are within the risk parameters defined by the company.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate in Finance/Commerce/Economics/Management or above (MBA preferred).
  • Certifications: Mandatory NISM Series VII (Securities Operations & Risk Management) and NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certifications.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in client acquisition and relationship management in a broking company / capital markets.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and managing HNI clients and achieving revenue targets.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, and investment products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver business results.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms and MS Office.
