Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Capital Market

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our stock broking division as an Assistant Vice President (AVP). The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of equity markets, broking operations, client acquisition, and regulatory compliance. Your role will be essential in expanding the client base, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth trade execution while supporting business growth initiatives. Your responsibilities will include driving client acquisition strategies to onboard HNIs, retail clients, and achieving monthly targets. You will need to develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to guarantee high retention and satisfaction levels. Additionally, identifying and seizing new business opportunities in the stock broking sector will be a crucial part of your role. As an Assistant Vice President, you will manage and mentor a team of dealers and relationship managers, ensuring they achieve their monthly targets. Setting performance goals and tracking team KPIs to meet business objectives will also fall under your responsibilities. It will be imperative to ensure adherence to SEBI and Exchange regulations and guidelines, overseeing client onboarding, KYC, AML, and other compliance checks. Furthermore, you will coordinate with audit teams to ensure regulatory readiness. This position is full-time and permanent, with a day shift schedule. Performance bonuses and yearly bonuses are part of the compensation package. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a broking firm. The work location is in person.
