Job Title: Portfolio Manager / Fund Manager Location: Hyderabad, India Experience: 7-15 Years Reporting To: Chief Investment Officer / Director - Asset Management Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and performance-driven Portfolio Manager / Fund Manager with a deep understanding of mutual funds, equity markets (including Nifty), and trading strategies , coupled with experience working in software or tech-driven environments . The ideal candidate must hold an MBA in Finance and be locally based in Hyderabad . You will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, executing data-backed trading strategies, and contributing to the firms overall investment growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee investment portfolios comprising mutual funds, stocks, and index-based instruments like Nifty . Conduct detailed market analysis and stock selection based on technical and fundamental indicators . Monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, and asset-class movements to inform portfolio decisions. Design and execute trading strategies with a focus on capital preservation, risk-adjusted returns, and client goals . Collaborate with tech teams to leverage fintech tools, trading platforms, or analytical software. Provide regular investment reports, portfolio performance reviews, and market updates to internal stakeholders and clients. Ensure compliance with SEBI and regulatory guidelines on investment operations. Contribute to the development of new financial products or investment models integrating technology. Required Qualifications & Skills: MBA in Finance from a recognized institution (mandatory). 5+ years of experience in portfolio/fund management, equity trading, or mutual fund analysis . Strong expertise in Indian equity markets, Nifty analysis, and trading strategies . Proven experience working in software companies , particularly in roles integrating finance with technology. Excellent knowledge of mutual fund structures, SIP/STP strategies, asset allocation models. Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., Zerodha, Upstox, Bloomberg, TradingView, etc.). Proficient in Excel, financial modeling, and optionally Python/R for quantitative analysis. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions. Must be a resident of Hyderabad or willing to relocate locally. Preferred Certifications (Optional): NISM-Series-XV: Research Analyst / NISM-Series-XXI: Portfolio Management Services.
