Position Overview:
The Senior Regional Manager – Etail Operations will oversee end-to-end inbound, outbound, and transit operations, ensuring timely connectivity, service reliability, and cost efficiency. The role combines strategic support in network design, infrastructure, and automation with hands-on operational leadership to deliver seamless Etail Operations performance. Acting as a key link between corporate and regional teams, this position is critical for driving service quality, compliance, scalability, and people capability while fostering a culture of accountability and execution excellence.
Job Purpose:
To build and drive efficient, reliable, and compliant Etail operations that enable timely, profitable, and secure movement of shipments. The role is accountable for optimizing costs, ensuring service excellence, maintaining regulatory adherence, and developing workforce capability, while preparing the hub for future growth through automation, infrastructure enhancements, and strong team leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or General Management.
Experience
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in logistics/express/Etail operations.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale hub/warehouse operations, compliance, and people leadership.
- Exposure to cost optimization, fleet management, and automation interventions.
- Experience in infrastructure planning, digital transformation, and multi-location hub operations.
Skills & Capabilities:
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Etail operations.
- Proficiency in network design, fleet and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of automation tools, WMS/TMS/ERP systems.
- Experience in cost tracking and financial planning (OCPM, OCPK).
- Familiarity with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma/process improvement methodologies.
