Job Description:

What You will do:

• Oversee and ensure the quality of all civil construction activities for residential projects as per approved drawings, technical specifications.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, material testing, and workmanship checks for concrete, steel, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
• Supervise laboratory and field testing of materials such as cement, aggregates, sand, concrete cubes, bitumen, etc.
• Maintain and update Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and related quality documentation.
• Ensure all tests are conducted as per contract requirements and maintain accurate records of test results.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and third-party testing agencies to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Verify materials delivered to site meet required specifications and approve or reject materials as necessary.
• Conduct site quality audits and prepare daily/weekly quality reports for project management and client submission.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards as per norms and regulations.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and government officials for inspections, approvals, and quality compliance.
• Provide technical guidance, supervision, and mentoring to junior quality staff and site engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 plus years of experience in quality control and assurance for building construction projects . .
• Practical experience in material testing, mix design, concrete and steel inspection, and quality documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and preparation of technical reports.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Experience in handling quality audits and third-party inspections.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in government-sector building projects.
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or institutional construction works.
• Background in managing multi-disciplinary project quality teams.
