1. Quality Inspection & Testing Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of brass components. Perform dimensional checks using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Plug gauges, and other precision instruments. Test material composition using Spectrometer, hardness testing, and other metallurgical tools. Verify compliance with IS, ASTM, or customer-specific standards . 2. Process Monitoring & Control Monitor quality at each production stage: casting, extrusion, machining, forging, plating, finishing . Identify deviations and work with production to ensure corrective actions. Implement AQL sampling plans and maintain process capability. 3. Documentation & Quality Records Maintain QC documentation: inspection reports, test certificates, rejection notes, and calibration logs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal audit processes . 4. Customer & Supplier Quality Address and resolve customer complaints through RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA implementation. Conduct supplier quality audits and incoming raw material verification. Coordinate with customers for approvals, audits, and technical clarifications. 5. Continuous Improvement & Quality Systems Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and quality improvement initiatives . Review and update Control Plans, Work Instructions, and SOPs .
