Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Department: Machine Shop Floor
Experience Required: 2–5 Years
Location: Pimpri,Pune

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final inspection of machined components as per drawing and quality standards.
• Ensure quality assurance for precision machined components in a batch-type production environment.
• Verify product dimensions using various inspection tools such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Trimos.
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product conformance.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Collaborate with production, design, and maintenance teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure adherence to ISO / internal quality systems and audit requirements.
• Participate in continual improvement activities and support the development of quality procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of machine manufacturing processes (Turning, Milling, Boring, Grinding, etc.).
• Good understanding of precision machining and tolerances.
• Proficient in the use of inspection instruments and gauges.
• Good understanding of drawing reading and geometrical tolerances (GD&T).
• Familiar with batch production systems and quality documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with good communication and coordination ability.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
