Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Navitas seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with extensive experience in both manual and

automated testing across a modern, cloud-based application stack. The ideal candidate will have

hands-on experience testing applications built on .NET, angular, hosted on Microsoft Azure,

and structured around microservices and RESTful APIs. You will be part of a cross-functional

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Conduct manual testing for frontend (Angular), backend (.NET services), and integrations.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright,
• Postman, Rest Assured, Spec Flow, NUnit, or xUnit.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, and validate RESTful endpoints and payloads.
• Conduct Azure cloud testing covering deployments, Azure DevOps pipelines, App Services, Azure Functions, and cloud storage integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to identify defects early in the SDLC.
• Perform integration testing of microservices with contract testing tools like Pact or equivalent.
• Create and maintain test data, mock services, and test environments in alignment with deployment cycles.
• Execute performance, load, and security tests as needed using tools such as JMeter,

Azure Load Testing, or OWASP ZAP.

• Track and report defects in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent issue tracking platforms.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration of automated test scripts using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
