Senior Quality Analyst

Experience 4-6 years.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts (manual & automated).
• Analyze business requirements and ensure they are fully testable.
• Perform thorough regression, integration, performance, and usability testing across platforms.
• Identify, log, and track bugs through to resolution using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and automation strategies.
• Generate and maintain QA documentation including test plans, QA metrics, and test summary reports.
• Mentor junior QA team members and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of QA experience with at least 1-2 years in a senior QA role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
• Perform manual testing across various devices and platforms to identify bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with mobile testing tools, including simulators and emulators, for iOS and Android.
• Ensure robust web application testing coverage, including UI, functionality, and compatibility validations.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage test artifacts and collaborate efficiently with development teams.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman to streamline regression and functional testing.
• Execute API testing to validate backend integrations and data integrity using REST API testing tools.
• Log, track, and manage software defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
• Conduct various levels of testing such as regression, smoke, and end-to-end to validate application quality across releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure alignment on quality goals and timely delivery.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to stay in sync with the team and project objectives.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in EdTech or similar product-based domains.
• Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (Appium, TestProject).
• ISTQB or similar certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
