Role Overview

Position:

Senior Python Developer

• Experience: 4+ years
  

We are looking for an experienced Python developer to design and deliver scalable backend and API solutions. The role requires strong engineering judgment, clean code practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities (concise):

• Design, build, test, and deploy Python-based web services, APIs, and backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Contribute to system architecture, participate in code reviews, and guide technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
  

Candidate Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Solid understanding of OOP and clean coding principles.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, SQL & NoSQL databases, and ORMs.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to CI/CD, unit testing, and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.
  

Skills Required

• Core: Python (primary), RESTful API development, Django/Flask/FastAPI
• Data & Storage: SQL & NoSQL database design, ORM usage
• DevOps & Tooling: Git, debugging & testing, CI/CD basics
• Cloud & Containers: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes (preferred)

• Salary Range: Competitive (based on experience)

• Reporting To: Tech Lead / Head of Engineering
• Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Start Date: Immediate / as per notice period
