Job Description

Position Title:Grade 5 – Senior Project Deployment Engineer  (Cybersecurity Delivery)

Summary:

The Technical Project Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity leads and executes delivery of complex cybersecurity projects involving threat protection, compliance, identity management, endpoint and network security implementations. This role ensures solution implementation aligns with client environments, timelines, and quality standards. The engineer also supports junior team members, customer engagement, and post-deployment support.

Key Responsibility

• Cybersecurity Solution Implementation & DeliveryLead deployment of cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection, firewalls, etc.) across customer environments.Ensure configurations follow best practices, compliance, and customer-specific policies.
• Customer Engagement & Issue ResolutionAct as the technical interface with the client throughout project lifecycle.
• Own escalated issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution planning.
• Team Mentoring & CollaborationSupport junior engineers through task planning, technical troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., network, infrastructure, SOC).Compliance & DocumentationEnsure delivery artifacts are well-documented and aligned with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).Assist in audits, compliance reporting, and configuration baselines.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience: 5–8 years in cybersecurity project implementation or security engineering roles.

Technical Skiils

• Proficiency in SIEM, IAM, EDR, Firewall technologiesFamiliarity with Linux/Windows server hardening
• Strong troubleshooting of logs, rules, alerts, and dashboardsGood
• knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, ports, SNMP, etc.Certifications Preferred:CompTIA Security+ / CySA+Cisco CCNP Security / Palo Alto PCNSACertified Ethical Hacker (CEH)ISO 27001 ImplementerMicrosoft SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)
